Expectations of the Regional Consultant Desk Manager :

  1. Lead and Motivate a group of 12-15 internal wholesalers to successfully build long term relationships with third party financial advisors and increase asset flows of investment products
  2. Participate in the development of and lead the execution of sales campaigns and strategic initiatives to increase penetration and sales production
  3. Provide ongoing professional development of internal sales team members through coaching, business planning support and training related to sales process
  4. Manage, improve and monitor the daily operations and activities of the internal sales team
  5. Facilitate communication to promote teamwork within and between internal marketing, operations and service departments
  6. Generate creative ideas and unique services that help internal wholesalers strengthen client relationships.
  7. Act as a liaison to national sales management, national accounts, marketing and product management to communicate market trends, competitive information and client needs.
  8. Work closely with the National Director of Internal Sales to develop and successfully execute firm initiatives.

Desired Skill Set:

  1. Series 7 required; Series 66 required within 30 days of hire
  2. Project management skills
  3. Supervisory skills
  4. MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  5. Demonstrate organized, efficient and effective territory management and phone skills on a consistent basis

  6. Previous formal training experience a plus
  7. Working knowledge of mutual funds, separately managed accounts and retirement products  

Educational Background, Training & Licensing:

  1. Bachelor’s degree and strong academic background required
  2. Advanced degree or professional certificate a plus                                         
Compensation:
